We understand that plans change. Cancellations made at least 72 hours before your scheduled visit will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable but may be eligible for rescheduling due to inclement weather.

We're located in the beautiful countryside of Leesburg, Virginia, just about an hour from Washington, D.C. You'll receive the exact address and arrival instructions in your booking confirmation.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled experience to allow time for parking, check-in, and a brief safety introduction.

Yes, a restroom is available for guests during their visit but we suggest using the restroom before you arrive as it is a port potty.

Yes! Our Highland cows are carefully selected for their calm, gentle temperaments and are accustomed to interacting with guests. Every interaction is supervised to ensure the safety and comfort of both our visitors and our animals.

At Highland Solstead, the safety and well-being of our guests and our animals is our highest priority. To create the best possible experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all visitors follow our age guidelines:
Under 5 years old: We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 5.
Ages 5–7: May enjoy the experience and interact with select Highland cows under close supervision.
Ages 8–16: Must be accompanied by a participating adult throughout the experience.

Our experiences continue in light rain and snow, as farm life doesn't stop for a little weather! In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we'll contact you to reschedule your visit.

We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are a must. During cooler months, dress in warm layers, and in summer, don't forget sunscreen and a hat.

Because we're a working farm with gravel paths and grassy areas, some areas may be difficult to navigate. Please contact us before your visit so we can discuss how to best accommodate your needs.
